With spring on the way here in Reykjavik it would be normal to expect a slight rise in temperatures, an increase in rainfall and the thawing of much of the snow and ice on the roads and footpaths.
What we actually get is hailstones the size of frozen peas falling from the sky and covering the lawn like a miniature golf course.
Ahhh, the joys of life at 66 North.
